SUMMER PROGRAM 2010 Rockit! For Kids gives young musicians an opportunity to play Rock & Roll with their peers, bringing them together to perform live as a band. Registration is open to guitarists, drummers, vocalists, bassists, keyboardists, brass and string players. Space is limited. • Ages 8–16, studying guitar, drums, bass, vocals, piano • All students must be currently studying with a private instructor. • All students must audition. • All students must perform in the end-of-semester concert. Auditions: Sunday Jun 13, 10am-6pm (assigned times). Audition Fee: $10 Audition are scheduled one week prior to date. Second or third instrument? Bring it on Jun 13. Program Fee: $335 (plus registration fee) Orientation Class: Sat, July 10, 12pm (for accepted students) Rehearsals: 75-minute band classes for six weeks with specialized instructors.
