We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of the users of our sites. This privacy policy (the "Policy") governs our use of information collected online only and does not apply to any information we may collect offline. This Policy informs you of how we use and protect your personal information and about what choices you have concerning our use of such information. Please read this Policy carefully. Rockit! For Kids is strongly committed to protecting the safety and privacy of children who visit our web site. WE WILL NOT KNOWINGLY COLLECT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM ANY PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF 13. If you are under 13 years of age, you should not provide any personally identifiable information on this site without the knowledge and permission of your parent or guardian. In the event that we learn that we have collected any personal information from a child under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information from our database as quickly as possible.

We recommend that minors over the age of 13 ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet.

The Information We Collect
At rockitforkids.org, we may collect a limited amount of personally identifiable information in the form of e-mail addresses for the purpose of online newsletters. We do not collect any other personal information and never share children's or anyone’s personal information with third parties. Our site offers the convenience of downloading applications when joining an active program. All blank applications must be filled out and submitted offline. Rockit! For Kids program applications are for downloading purposes only, and to be filled out by a parent or guardian and mailed via United States Postal Service or in person. Rockit! For Kids program applications will not be accepted online and will promptly be deleted.

Parental Consent
If we decide to collect personal information for other reasons, we will notify parents that it is being requested, disclose the reasons for collecting it, and disclose our intended use for it. We will seek parental consent before collecting any personally identifiable information. If we do collect it, parents may request information on the type of data being collected, view their child’s information, and, if they choose, prohibit us from making further use of their child’s information. This includes the use of their full name and photos on the web site, only with the consent and signature from their parent or guardian. We will not provide personal information to third parties.

Note to Parents: We urge all parents to participate in their children's exploration of the Internet and any online services, and to teach their children about protecting their personal information while online.

Non-Personal Identification Information And The Use Of Cookie Technology
Although we do not use cookie technology at the present time, we do use a web stats program to see how many page requests the site gets. This program can not identify unique users.

By using any of the Rockit! For Kids sites, you signify your acceptance of this Policy. If you do not agree to this Policy, please do not use our sites. Your continued use of the Rockit! For Kids Sites following the posting of changes to this Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
